• Bloomingdale's has an excellent opportunity for an experienced writer to contribute to our in-house creative team. We are looking for someone who can help capture important trends in fashion and home merchandise, and keep our print advertising modern, innovative, and inspired. 

• Attend concept meetings with creative team and merchants to learn about advertising programs

• Create copy for home store merchandise and storewide advertising campaigns

• Write creative copy for newspapers, magazines, and catalogs

• Develop copy concepts and text for special events materials including invitations, letters, postcards, etc.

• Brainstorm new campaign concepts

• Report to Senior Copy Director 

Skills Summary:

• Minimum 2-3 years experience
• BA/BS required (English, Communications, or Advertising/Marketing preferred)
• Prior experience in fast-paced and dynamic creative environment
• Excellent communication skills
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Highly organized with an ability to adapt to quickly changing priorities
