Job Description

OVERALL SUMMARY
The Copywriter is responsible for producing advertising and marketing copy solutions that support the HBO and Cinemax brands.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
· The Copywriter works closely with project teams and clients to develop concepts and write effective copy that meets clients’ business objectives and maximizes the impact of each marketing message.
· The Copywriter is also responsible for executing and understanding the Copy Editing function ¾ ensuring the grammatical, legal and factual accuracy in all copy when it is first delivered to designers/clients.
· The Copywriter may also act as a proofreader when needed for all print, web, outdoor, and collateral materials.

REQUIREMENTS
· A strong familiarity with Boxing is desired.
· Bachelor's degree (B.A.) from four-year College or University.
·1-3 years writing experience in the following mediums: print, video or new media.
· Strong writing skills; strategic, creative and innovative.
· Solid grammatical and proofreading skills.
· Extraordinary awareness of the rigid rules - and flexible parameters- of modern English language usage.
· Strong organizational skills.
· Work well in fast paced, collaborative creative environment.
