Job Description The position supports the marketing department in the preparation of marketing communications to include member-facing communications, product launch materials, sales sheets, presentations, brochures, direct mail/postcards, newsletters, Web copy and other printed and online materials. You must possess strong writing abilities with an ability to think outside-the-box when it comes to concepts and headlines. Writer will be responsible for supporting all business areas including marketing, sales and account management targeting external and internal audiences (members, payers, clients, prospects, suppliers/partners) with a variety of writing styles. Prior healthcare experience is required.

Responsibilities:
• Provides copy writing and editing support to VP Marketing and Chief Strategy Officer on materials to support the annual marketing plan 
• Product Launch Materials - creative briefs, content for postcards, posters, utilization materials, scripts/talking points 
• Creation of promotional and educational materials for members (product specific as well as disease/issue specific) 
• Case Studies - ability to interview internal and external audiences (Health Coaches, Case Managers) to create compelling stories that can be leveraged for sales and share of solutions purposes with current accounts 
• Branding materials - strength in creating targeted messaging
• Support of internal communications as needed 
• Support of executive team communications 

Education:
• Bachelor's degree is required

Qualifications:
• 5-7 years experience required
• Strong writing skills with proven track record in creating dynamic marketing materials, campaigns and eCommunications; ability to create copy that will create marketplace differentiation as well as copy that informs and educates 
• Ability to effectively organize and track a large volume of information and projects adhering to strict deadlines and budgets
• Excellent communication/interpersonal skills; ability to present to management; must be able to interact on a professional basis with internal/external customers, subject matter experts and opinion leaders; team player
• Uses Microsoft office applications to prepare materials; use of content management tools and Microsoft Project is a plus
• Flexible, detail oriented, self-starter.
• Prior experience supporting marketing efforts within the healthcare industry a plus; need to quickly come up to speed on subject matter
